The Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal sits on a charming man-made island on the Saint Lawrence river in Quebec, a venue celebrated for its dramatic racing, and the fantastic atmosphere in and around the paddock.

Winding its way around the island’s parkland, the circuit is as treacherous as it is varied, with high speed straights mixed with very low speed corners, with unforgiving barriers never far away.

This exhilarating circuit benefits from the cosmopolitan, urban buzz of Montreal, a vibrant city which fully embraces the Grand Prix, creating a truly exceptional atmosphere, making this a real favourite with fans.

The Gold 2 Grandstand overlooks the grid, and is a great place to watch the adrenalin of the pre-race grid preparations, the dramatic race start, and see the winner take the chequered flag.<br /> <br />This is a fantastic spot for speed demons too, as you will see the cars exiting the Wall of Champions chicane at Turn 13 before blasting past you down the main straight. The roar of the engines will fill the air, as well as the cheers of the crowd, famous for its carnival atmosphere.<br /> <br />You will also have a great overview of the pit lane, making this is an excellent place to follow the evolution of pit strategies, and to watch the skill of the pit crews.

The Silver 11 Grandstand overlooks the Senna corner, the first gear tight right-hander at the end of the main straight, and one of the circuit's key overtaking spots.<br /> <br />This is a great place to watch the race unfold, as you will see the braking zone into Turn 1, before looking directly down on the Senna corner, as the cars navigate this tricky technical sector.<br /> <br />Depending on your seats, you will see the charge down the main straight, or the exit of the Senna corner, towards the <em>Pont de la Concorde</em>, where the drivers brush the wall on exit.

The Silver 12 Grandstand overlooks the Senna corner, the first gear tight right-hander at the end of the main straight, and one of the circuit's key overtaking spots.<br /> <br />This is a great spot to watch the race unfold, as you will see the end of the braking zone into Turn 1, and then directly overlook the Senna corner as the cars navigate this tricky technical sector.<br /> <br />You will then see them accelerate hard down towards <em>Pont de la Concorde</em>, engines roaring on the exit of this crucial sector.

The Silver 15 Grandstand is on the outside of the circuit, facing the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin at the end of the 190 mph straight, a truly spectacular spot where the drivers undergo an incredible 6G as they slam on the brakes to take the right-hander at just 35 mph.<br /> <br />This is one of the circuit's key overtaking zones, with vast run off areas directly in front of you, waiting to claim drivers who miss their braking point. You will have a great view of the entry and the exit, as the cars take a "V" racing line to maximise speed on the huge straight that follows.<br /> <br />Hard braking, overtakes, and full throttle acceleration make this a fantastic spot, made all the more exciting by the carnival atmosphere in the 4 large grandstands.

The Bronze 33 Grandstand overlooks Turns 8 and 9, and is an excellent spot to watch the race unfold. You will see the cars enter the corner under hard braking, as the pass under the bridge into this key overtaking zone.<br /> <br />You will then look down as they accelerate hard around the left hand curve, and past round the back of this stand on their way to the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin.<br /> <br />This is a high octane section of the circuit, with heavy braking, and hard acceleration, with engines roaring and brakes lighting up, it’s a great spot.

The Bronze 33 Grandstand faces the dramatic Turn 6, a steep left-hander which sees the cars brake hard to sweep through the corner at 100 mph. This is a key overtaking spot, and a great place to see the impressive braking and cornering ability of modern F1 cars.<br /> <br />You will see the cars charging towards you at 160 mph, then see them weave through this tricky corner, before opening the throttle to blast down the back straight.<br /> <br />This grandstand also enjoys beautiful panoramic views of the waters around <em>Île Notre-Dame</em>, and of the Montreal skyline in the distance.

The Bronze 34 Grandstand is on the narrow strip of infield between the entry and the exit of the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin, at the end of the 190 mph straight, a truly spectacular spot where the drivers undergo an incredible 6G as they slam on the brakes to take the right-hander at just 35 mph.<br /> <br />This is one of the circuit's key overtaking zones, with vast run off areas waiting to claim drivers who miss their braking point. You will have a great view of the entry and the exit, as the cars take a "V" racing line to maximise speed on the huge straight as they accelerate hard past your viewing spot.<br /> <br />Hard braking, overtakes, and full throttle acceleration make this a fantastic spot, made all the more exciting by the carnival atmosphere in the 3 large grandstands here.

The Silver Trio Package is a fantastic opportunity to follow the race weekend from a different grandstand every day.<br /> <br />You’ll enjoy the Free Practice sessions on the Friday from Grandstand 24, which overlooks the exit of the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin at the end of the 190 mph straight.<br /> <br />You will have a ticket in Grandstand 12 for Qualifying and Saturday Free Practice which faces Senna corner and the braking zone into Turn 1.<br /><br />On Sunday you will watch the race from Grandstand 15 facing the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin, a spectacular spot and a key overtaking zone, as the drivers slam on the brakes, before accelerating hard out of the corner right in front of you.<br /> <br />An excellent way to enjoy this great event from different perspectives, and soak up the carnival atmosphere in the different grandstands.

The Bronze Trio Package is a fantastic opportunity to follow the race weekend from a different grandstand every day.<br /> <br />You’ll enjoy the Free Practice sessions on the Friday from Grandstand 33, which faces the dramatic Turn 6, a steep left-hander and key overtaking spot.<br /> <br />You will have a ticket in Grandstand 22 for Qualifying and Saturday Free Practice, on the outside of the exit of the <em>Epingle</em> hairpin. This is a key overtaking zone, and you'll then have a great view as the cars accelerate hard past you.<br /><br />On Sunday you will watch the race from Grandstand 31 overlooking Turns 8 and 9. You'll see the field enter the corner under heavy braking, as they pass under the bridge into this key overtaking zone.<br /> <br />An excellent way to enjoy this great event from different perspectives, and soak up the carnival atmosphere in the different grandstands.
